Casting "The Trip" a US Feature Film.

This movie will be a remake of a film that is on Netflix (The Trip https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13109952/). The production is working on a new version that has a new director, cast etc. It will be produced for the US market.

Synopsis: "The Trip" follows Dan and Lisa, a couple with a crumbling marriage, who head to a remote cabin for a weekend getaway. Secretly, Dan plans to kill Lisa, but she quickly discovers his intentions and turns the tables on him. Their deadly struggle is interrupted by three escaped convicts who hide in the cabin, leading to a chaotic, darkly comedic battle for survival. The plot centers on betrayal, marital tension, and absurd twists as everyone vies for control in an increasingly dangerous situation.

Shooting in Tampere, Finland

Shooting period: October to December (see dates under ROLE)

Paid roles: 1500€ for 1 day + travel tickets and accommodation will be organized and paid by the production; travel days will not be compensated separately.

ROLE: CARL m, 70-78, Caucasian, must speak English with a genuine American accent. The character Carl Marshall in "The Trip" is depicted as an elderly man, "as old as dust itself," living near the cabin where the events of the movie unfold. He drives an old car and seems to be a bit slow in his actions, as evidenced by his manual rolling down of the car window, which takes a long time. Carl is somewhat nosy and observant, as he notices the broken cabin window and the misplaced items outside Dan and Lisa’s cabin. Despite his age, Carl is attentive to the happenings around him and makes a slow, deliberate call to alert Michael about the suspicious activity at the cabin. His character adds a sense of comic slowness and detail-oriented behavior in the otherwise fast-paced, violent plot. Expected 2 shooting days on 31st October and on 5th December.
