When she learns that her childhood best friend is hosting a birthday party back home, a lost and lonely young girl struggling to adjust to adulthood becomes determined to secure the money to return to her home country. Struggling through her attempt, she meets a cheerful imaginary friend, who makes her face the fear of growing up.
