Casting Overview

We are looking for highly motivated enthusiastic performers, to be part of our 2022/23 Pantomime tour ‘Dick Whittington’

The contract commences on November 27th with rehearsals, followed a 5-week tour of the Southwest and Midlands finishing on the 8th January 2023.

We perform in a diverse range of venues including Schools, Social Clubs, Leisure Centres, Holiday Parks, and Theatres. Rehearsals are from Sunday 27 – Saturday 3 December prior to the tour starting on 4th December 2022. (We do not work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day).

If selected self-tape submissions will need to be in 12noon on Monday 11th July. Once these have been received you may be asked to attend an in-person audition on Friday 22nd July in Exeter. Photo shoot on Friday 7th October in Exeter.

Accepting submissions for the following roles: Dick Whittington - Alice Fitzwarren - King/Queen Rat - Alderman Fitzwarren / Sultan of Morocco Strong acting, singing and dance skills however are required. Pantomime experience is preferred, but is not essential. Actors with a Devon base preferred, however, this is not an essential requirement. Driving is a massive bonus. NB: As this is a touring production you will be expected to assist with the construction/striking of the scenery, props, costume, merchandise etc.
