Casting Overview

Hobgoblin Theatre Company is looking for a number of actors to complete their company for the 2024/2025 tour of Primary Schools.

We perform a variety of plays in Primary Schools all over England, including history shows, fairy tales and Christmas performances. There are lots of opportunities for different performing experiences, characters and venues.

The contract is from the start of Sept 2024 to mid July 2025 and is Mon-Fri term time.

Rehearsals start Tues 30th August 2024.

Salary: a weekly rate of £430 plus holiday pay per week throughout the contract period (regardless of whether the actor is rehearsing or performing). Pay is not dependant on the number of shows per week and actors will be paid even if cancellations/postponements occur.

Looking for fun, versatile actors who can play lots of different characters with a wide variety of ages, accents and genders. It is essential that the actor can demonstrate a range of regional accents. We need actors with a flair for learning lines quickly and who are passionate about working with children. Actors MUST be based in South London or Surrey as all rehearsals are based in Redhill, Surrey. NB: Submissions from actors who do not have a South London/Surrey base cannot be considered.
