CZECHIA: actors (m/f) 18-60, English spkrs, for theatre play in Prague [P]
Casting Overview
Casting actors based in Prague for a rare production of A Clockwork Orange where the beautiful collides with the brutal, the glorious is defamed by the profane. Ballet and dance merge crudely with opera, Beethoven and a little bit of the ultra violence. A story of anti-establishment rebellious youth, enacting and being victim to abuse of power, domination, superiority, artistry, veneration of classical music, disrespect, perversion, and destruction. As we follow our main character through murder, institutionalisation, reform, and return to a world that left him behind.
Choreography: Led by the accomplished and fantastic Jade Becker (Associate Director, Ballet Teacher at First International Ballet School in Prague), the choreography will mix elegance with crudity in a visceral display of exuberance.
Singing: Multinational vocal coach and singing teacher Sav Bea (Founder of Sav Bea Academy) brings over twenty years of experience supporting professionals and aspirants, ensuring our cast performs safely and professionally.
Direction: Christopher Adamson (Co-founder and Artistic Director of D’Prompt Theatre).
Produced by Gordon L. Schmitz
Performance: Premieres in June 2025 at Rock Cafe
Rehearsals: Two to three times per week, evenings, and weekends.
Pay: Percentage of box office based on role
