Casting Overview
For the psychological thriller short film “STACK”, we are looking for a Dutch/Flemish speaking actress for the lead role.
“STACK” is a cinematic thriller short film serving as the prologue and proof-of-concept for the feature film project “Soulstack”.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A psychologically intense and emotionally demanding lead role involving dramatic scenes, emotional breakdowns, tension, paranoia, and physical action sequences.
The character carries much of the emotional weight of the film and requires strong screen presence, emotional vulnerability, intensity, and the ability to portray psychological conflict in a believable and natural way.
The role includes emotionally heavy scenes and moments of physical confrontation/action.
The project may incorporate experimental hybrid filmmaking techniques, combining practical cinematography with AI-assisted visual enhancements for selected moments and action sequences.
All scenes will be performed safely and professionally on set.

Requirements:
• Female actress between 40–50
• Dutch/Flemish-speaking
• Strong emotional range and screen presence
• Comfortable with intense dramatic material
• Availability for rehearsals during June
• Available for 2–3 shooting days in early July
Acting experience is appreciated, but beginner actresses are also welcome to apply. Authenticity, dedication, emotional depth, and cinematic presence are most important.
