Casting Overview
Casting adaptations of 'Pink Panther' (audience age 4-11) and 'Romeo and Juliet' (audience age 12-17) for Theatre in Education Tour in Turkey.
Rehearsals run October 16 – November 1 (14 rehearsal workdays) in Istanbul, Turkey.
The touring run then continues from November 2 – December 23 (33 workdays), with two to three shows per day in various cities across Turkey. (Some shows take place at the same school).
Pay: $35 per rehearsal workday (14 days); $70 per day for the 33 touring workdays.
Breakfast is covered throughout, and lunch is provided on weekdays.
The company also provides round-trip airfare from/to major airports, accommodation, and health insurance.
Performers are responsible for their own visa costs.
Roles
Roles available:
Romeo Montague, Prince Escalus, Lord Mercutio, Lady Capulet and Prince Paris in "Romeo and Juliet".
Inspector Bruno and Scarlett Vane in "Pink Panther".
Each performance includes three songs, so singing ability is required. All performers must speak fluent English and be capable of delivering lines in a natural British or American accent.
