Actors (m), 30-40, English spkrs, for bilingual theatre production in Ostia
Casting Overview
We're looking for English-speaking actors to play a supporting role in our original bilingual Christmas family theatre production: "Il Mistero di Mr Wordplay and the Curious Boy".
Rehearsals: From October 2026
Venue: Ostia (Rome), Italy
Performances: 17–20 December 2026 at Teatro Pegaso, Ostia.
This is primarily a volunteer community theatre project. A small profit share is foreseen if the production generates a surplus, but this should not be the deciding factor in your interest or participation.
Roles
ROLE: The Pilot
The Pilot is a man who has lost his memory and finds himself in a magical world of words and imagination. He is innocent, romantic, optimistic, and often unintentionally funny. A supporting role with several memorable scenes.
Requirements:
male actor
playing age 30–40
Speaking English as native speaker
Acting experience (professional or amateur) preferred
No Italian required (basic Italian is a plus)
