Casting Overview
Seeking a Japanese or Japanese-descendant actor to play a minor role in the independent feature film "Gil Vicente, O Sapo e O Jumento", the second feature film of directors Ana Baldini & Roly Witherow.
Gil Vicente's "The Frog and The Ass" is a tragicomic farce that explores themes of Portuguese history, identity, sexuality, love, and marriage.
Logline: A motley crew of thespians and nerds lead a life of esoteric fantasies and repressed desires, until they are transported into a 16th century Gil Vicente's play.
Shooting will take place on 3 separate days between Summer-Winter 2026 in Lisbon.
Paid: 6 EUR per hour including rehearsals
