Casting male actors for roles in a short film set during World War II.
The title for the film is KITARTÁS. It is a short film set during the Siege of Budapest and is a psychological exploration of the raw emotional cost in war times. The story follows Hungarian soldiers as they face a moral and physical struggle for survival in the last year of the war in Hungary.
All roles require fluency in both English (for crew communication/rehearsals) and Hungarian (as the film's dialogue will be in Hungarian).
Shooting over 2 days in late February 2026 in the Hűvösvölgy area.
Paid work.
Roles
Requirements:
Male, 20–25 years old.
Must speak fluent English and Hungarian.
Comfortable performing in outdoor winter conditions.
Character Description: A young Hungarian field medic who carries no weapon. Miklós is haunted and fragile, facing a moral and physical struggle to survive as his faith in the war collapses around him.

Character Description: A Hungarian soldier under István’s command. Ádám is a man torn between obedience to his orders and the stirrings of his own conscience and guilt. His internal conflict becomes a major turning point in the film.
