Casting Overview

Working title:'First Men on The First Raft'.
Production: short student film
Genre: Mystery, grounded sci-fi, weird fiction.
Story setting: 1970s.
Film length: 15-20 min

Story premise: Arriving for a vacation to a forest cabin, a city journalist encounters an aboriginal alien race, who captures him. Aliens force him to push a strange long boat along the ground until it rises and flies away. While with them, he makes many extraordinary discoveries, only to question if everything really happened at the end.

Dates & Location: 2-3 days of filming at the beginning of July 2025, in Amsterdam-noord.

This is a student production, so unfortunately we cannot offer any financial compensation nor cover expenses. What we can offer you is experience and use for your portfolio. Additionally, catering (food and drinks) will also be provided for free. The film most likely will be exclusively for private screening, however it can be used for your portfolio.
