Elisa di Rivombrosa
(2003)
A young orphaned woman named Elisa is taken on as a servant at the aristocratic Ristori estate in eighteenth-century Piedmont, where she falls into a forbidden and tempestuous romance with the count, Fabrizio di San Clemente. Their relationship is complicated by rigid class divisions, scheming rivals, and a series of dramatic intrigues that threaten to keep them apart. The story follows Elisa's journey from humble origins as she navigates love, betrayal, and the social constraints of the era.
