Mercy Peak
(2001)
A small, isolated New Zealand mountain town serves as the setting for this drama series, which follows the lives and relationships of local residents, including the staff and patients of the community's medical centre. Personal secrets, romantic entanglements, and professional tensions intertwine as the tight-knit community faces the challenges of rural life. The rugged landscape and the town's remoteness act as a backdrop that both connects and isolates the characters from one another.
