The Killers of My Father
Режисьор Miroslav Lekić (2019)
A Serbian documentary in which folk music star Lepa Brena investigates the wartime killing of her father during the conflicts that tore apart the former Yugoslavia. She travels to meet those connected to the events, seeking to understand the circumstances and motivations behind his death. The film blends personal grief with broader questions of historical accountability and reconciliation in the Western Balkans.
