Annika
Режисьор Colin Nutley (1984)
A former marine homicide detective relocates from Oslo to work for a small Scottish coastal police unit that investigates crimes involving the water. Annika juggles the demands of her complex cases with the challenges of raising her teenage daughter largely on her own. She has a habit of breaking the fourth wall to address the audience directly, often weaving in literary references as a way of reflecting on the themes of each episode.
