Agatha & the Curse of Ishtar
Режисьор Sam Yates (2019)
A fictionalised Agatha Christie embarks on an archaeological adventure in the Middle East, drawing on the period of her life when she visited excavations in Iraq and Syria. Romantic and mysterious encounters unfold against a backdrop of ancient ruins and colonial-era intrigue. The story blends Christie's real biography with a invented mystery narrative inspired by the setting that would later influence her own fiction.
