A Polish anthology film in which seven separate stories, each set at a different location along a single road, explore the lives and moral dilemmas of various characters who cross paths or pause at these waypoints. The tales are loosely connected by their shared geography and by recurring themes of chance, temptation, and human fallibility. Together they form a portrait of contemporary Polish society seen through intimate, often darkly comic vignettes.
