The Wedding Party
(2016)
A group of friends and family descend on Lagos for an elaborate and expensive wedding, but the celebrations are repeatedly disrupted by a series of chaotic mishaps, hidden secrets, and romantic entanglements among the guests. As the big day unfolds, old flames resurface and long-buried tensions threaten to derail the festivities entirely. The film is a comedic look at the extravagance and drama surrounding contemporary Nigerian high-society weddings.
