A long-running Italian satirical news programme that parodies current affairs, politics and television itself. Each episode features hosts presenting spoof news segments, celebrity gossip and hidden-camera footage exposing everyday corruption or absurdity. The show is well known for its scantily clad showgirls, known as "veline," who dance and deliver papers to the presenters, and for its recurring comic characters and catchphrases.
