Three young kung fu students from the Pai Zhuq Order are chosen to become Power Rangers after the ancient evil spirit Dai Shi escapes his imprisonment and threatens to conquer the world by unleashing his army of Rinshi warriors. The Rangers must master animal-based martial arts techniques and harness the power of animal spirits to battle Dai Shi and his generals. As the team grows stronger, they unlock new animal spirits and are joined by additional Rangers, while uncovering deeper secrets about Dai Shi's connection to one of their own.
