Dr. John Dolittle is recruited by forest animals to help save their woodland home from being demolished by a logging company. To do so, he must train a circus bear named Archie to mate with an endangered Pacific Western bear, thereby giving the forest protected status. Meanwhile, Dolittle also struggles to reconnect with his rebellious teenage daughter, whose behaviour has become increasingly troublesome.
