A Czech television drama centring on the catastrophic 1961 Dukla mine disaster in Ostrava, in which an underground explosion trapped and killed dozens of miners. Against this backdrop, the production examines the human relationships, personal sacrifices, and political pressures that shaped the response to one of Czechoslovakia's worst industrial tragedies.
