The Show

A mystical stranger arrives in a down-at-heel English Midlands town and begins stirring up its residents, drawing them into a surreal underworld of strange characters and dark secrets. The town of Northampton itself becomes a kind of character, steeped in the mythology and obsessions of writer Alan Moore, who conceived the story. As various townsfolk are pulled into increasingly bizarre and violent events, the boundaries between reality and an otherworldly theatrical realm begin to dissolve.
