Robinson Crusoe

A man is shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island and must learn to survive entirely alone, fashioning shelter, tools and food from the island's natural resources. After years of solitude, he encounters another human being — a native man he names Friday — and the two form an unlikely companionship. Together they must eventually confront the dangers posed by hostile visitors to the island before finding a means of escape back to civilisation.
