The Brand New Testament

God turns out to be a petty, bad-tempered man living in a flat in Brussels, where he tyrannises his wife and young daughter Ea. Tired of his cruelty, Ea hacks into his divine computer and sends every person on Earth their remaining life expectancy before escaping into the city, where she sets out to recruit six new apostles. As she gathers her unlikely disciples — each of whom, now knowing their death date, begins to live more freely — God blunders after her in an attempt to reassert his authority.
