Hannibal Rising

A young Hannibal Lecter survives the brutal murder of his family during the Second World War, only to witness an even more traumatic act of violence against his beloved sister Mischa. Years later, now a medical student in Paris under the care of his Japanese aunt, he begins methodically hunting down and killing the war criminals responsible for what he witnessed, acquiring along the way the refined tastes and cold savagery that will define him as an adult.
