Ripley

A skilled con man and forger named Tom Ripley is sent to Italy to persuade a wealthy young American to return home, but instead becomes dangerously entangled in a web of deception, murder and stolen identity. Shot in stark black and white, the series follows Ripley as he assumes the lives of those he kills, moving through mid-twentieth-century Europe whilst evading the suspicions of detectives closing in on him.
