Zagros

A Kurdish sheep farmer living in Belgium is forced to flee his home country after his daughter dishonours the family, and he struggles to rebuild his life in an unfamiliar culture whilst tending a flock of sheep in the Belgian countryside. His bond with the animals becomes a source of solace as he grapples with isolation, displacement, and the weight of his cultural traditions. The film quietly explores the tension between the values he has carried from Kurdistan and the more liberal society he now inhabits.
