Amici come prima

Two ageing performers with a longstanding rivalry are forced to work together when they end up sharing a stage in a theatrical production. Their fractious relationship is complicated further when one disguises himself as a woman, leading to a series of comic misunderstandings. The film is a broad Italian comedy in the tradition of classic farce, drawing on mistaken identity and old-fashioned slapstick.
