A young Amazonian warrior named Diana leaves her sheltered island home after a WWI pilot crashes nearby and warns of a devastating global conflict. Convinced that the war god Ares is responsible for humanity's suffering, she ventures into the outside world alongside a small band of allies to confront him. As she battles both enemy forces and her own assumptions about human nature, she discovers the true extent of her powers and her divine origins.
