A new series of murders connects Bavaria and Austria, drawing detectives Ellie Stocker and Gedeon Winter back together despite the tension that lingers between them following the events of the first series. The killings appear ritualistic and increasingly elaborate, pointing towards a killer with a disturbing sense of symbolism.
