A series of murder mysteries set in a small Tuscan coastal town, centred on the eccentric regulars of a local bar run by the cantankerous Massimo, who repeatedly finds himself entangled in criminal investigations despite his reluctance. The cases are largely solved through the sharp observations and bickering of a group of elderly locals who gossip, interfere, and occasionally provide crucial insights. The series blends gentle comedy with whodunit plotting in a distinctly Italian provincial setting.
