Mavis, a plus-size Black woman working as a personal stylist in New York City, finds herself starting over after her long-term boyfriend cheats on her, leaving her without a home or a relationship. She moves in with her best friend and works to rebuild her career, her confidence, and her love life whilst navigating the challenges of dating and body image in the modern world. The series follows her journey of self-discovery as she refuses to let setbacks define her worth.
