Σκηνοθεσία Nae Caranfil (2013)
A group of Jewish intellectuals and former Communist resistance fighters in 1950s Romania stage an audacious bank robbery, only to be captured by the authorities. The communist regime, keen to make a public spectacle of their downfall, forces the convicted criminals to re-enact their crime on film as a form of propaganda. The story blends dark humour with political tragedy as the participants grapple with their own complicity in the system that now condemns them.
