A young woman goes missing in rural Ireland, and a journalist who lost her own sister in similarly unexplained circumstances years earlier becomes obsessed with the case. As she digs deeper, she uncovers a disturbing pattern of unsolved disappearances of women across the Irish midlands that authorities have failed to connect. Her investigation puts her increasingly at risk as she edges closer to a dangerous truth someone wants buried.
