A Vienna-based detective unit gains an unusual new partner when a highly trained German Shepherd named Rex joins the team following the murder of his previous handler. The dog's remarkable intelligence and tracking abilities prove invaluable as the detectives investigate a series of criminal cases across the city. Rex forms a particularly close bond with Inspector Moser, though their working relationship is not without its comedic friction.
