Resistance

A young Marcel Marceau, before becoming the world-famous mime artist, joins the French Resistance during the Second World War and works alongside Jewish scouts to shelter and smuggle hundreds of orphaned Jewish children to safety across the Swiss border. Based on true events, the film depicts Marceau's dangerous missions in occupied France, where he uses his talents for mimicry and disguise to evade Nazi detection. His experiences during this period transform him from a self-absorbed aspiring performer into a courageous humanitarian, shaped in part by the influence of his father and the horrors unfolding around him.
