Six interconnected stories span centuries, from a nineteenth-century sea voyage and a 1970s nuclear conspiracy to a dystopian future clone uprising and a post-apocalyptic tribal society. The film follows how the actions and souls of individual characters ripple across time, with the same actors playing multiple roles across different eras and settings. Themes of freedom, oppression, and human connection tie the narratives together as each protagonist struggles against the constraints of their age.
