A troubled Dutch teenager named Dennis drifts into a life of petty crime and street gangs in Amsterdam, struggling against a fractured home life and the pull of a dangerous social circle. As his behaviour escalates, those around him attempt to reach him before he crosses a point of no return. The film charts his descent and the slim prospects for redemption facing young men caught in cycles of urban poverty and violence.
