The Twelve

A woman stands trial for the murders of two children, a crime she has always denied committing, whilst a jury of twelve ordinary people must weigh up the evidence and reach a verdict. As the trial unfolds, the personal lives, prejudices, and secrets of the jurors are gradually revealed, showing how their own experiences colour their judgement. The series examines how guilt and innocence are perceived differently depending on who is doing the judging.
