A documentary that follows several prisoners in the United States who are awaiting execution on death row, exploring their personal histories, the crimes for which they were convicted, and the emotional and psychological toll of living under a sentence of death. The film gives voice to the condemned individuals themselves, examining questions of guilt, justice, and the morality of capital punishment.
