A young artist discovers that the ancient Egyptian woman whose mannequin form he helped create has magically come to life, but only reveals herself to him. The two fall in love whilst he works at a department store, where the animated mannequin helps him stage increasingly successful window displays. Their romance is complicated by scheming colleagues and a rival store's attempts to sabotage him.
