Based loosely on the real life of Jack Parsons, a pioneering figure in American rocket science, the series explores how his unconventional beliefs both fuel and threaten his scientific ambitions. His relationships with colleagues, lovers, and fellow disciples grow increasingly complicated as he is drawn deeper into a world of ritual and transgression.
