Jingbirok

A Korean historical drama depicting the events surrounding the Japanese invasions of Korea in the late sixteenth century, seen largely through the eyes of scholar and statesman Yu Seong-ryong. The series follows his efforts to defend the kingdom, navigate political rivalries at the royal court, and preserve a record of the conflict for future generations. His close relationship with the naval commander Yi Sun-sin forms a central thread throughout the story.
