A woman's husband is kidnapped in Mexico and she is thrust into a terrifying ordeal as she attempts to negotiate with his captors and navigate the dangerous criminal underworld whilst battling an indifferent bureaucracy. Based on a true story, the film follows her determined efforts to secure her husband's release despite mounting obstacles from both the kidnappers and the authorities. Her struggle highlights the brutal reality of kidnapping in Mexico and the desperate lengths a wife will go to in order to save the man she loves.
