A middle-aged man confronts the quiet unravelling of his daily life as he navigates feelings of isolation and disconnection in an Austrian domestic setting. The film observes him with restraint, focusing on small moments and routines that gradually reveal a deeper emotional emptiness. His relationships with those around him offer little comfort, leaving him adrift in a melancholy autumnal existence.
