The Correspondence

A British astrophysics professor and his much younger Italian student have been conducting a secret romantic affair, but when he suddenly dies, she begins receiving emails and video messages that appear to have been sent by him from beyond the grave. As she tries to come to terms with her grief whilst pursuing her passion for extreme sports, she gradually unravels the mystery of how her late lover managed to reach out to her after his death. The film is a meditation on loss, love, and the lengths to which someone might go to remain present in the life of a person they cherish.
