A middle-aged man returns to his family home in the Alps for the Christmas period, where he finds himself reunited with old friends and confronted with unresolved tensions from the past. As the group gathers together, buried emotions, regrets and long-standing secrets begin to surface amongst them. The film uses the intimacy of the holiday setting to explore themes of friendship, lost time and the difficulty of accepting the choices one has made in life.
