A veteran police detective is killed in the line of duty but finds himself transferred into the body of a young man, allowing him to continue his work solving crimes whilst navigating the complexities of living in an unfamiliar physical form. He must balance his new identity with his old life, including his relationships with family and former colleagues who do not recognise him. The Spanish series blends procedural crime drama with fantastical elements as the protagonist struggles to reconcile his two existences.
