A wandering monster hunter known as Geralt navigates a morally ambiguous world of magic, politics and dangerous creatures, drawing on stories from Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy novels and short fiction. The series follows his encounters with various supernatural beings and his complicated relationships with sorceresses and other characters across a troubled kingdom. His role as a "witcher" — a mutant trained from childhood to hunt monsters — places him perpetually between the worlds of humans and the creatures they fear.
